Darby’s career began as sales manager of K Realty building that brand into a successful 5 office firm with two Rutherford offices, plus offices in Lyndhurst, North Arlington and a South Jersey location serving Stafford Township and Long Beach Island. From the Stafford Township office he was responsible for construction of nearly 200 custom single and multi-family dwellings. He was later encouraged by Justin Tokarski, founder of Justin Realty to form a partnership to duplicate the success he created at K Realty. Metzger, after graduating from college with a degree in Earth and Space Science Education to become a high school science teacher, decided to join the family business as a real estate professional. After 3 successful years as a Realtor, she went back to school to further her real estate knowledge and became a Real Estate Broker. Trying to combine her original love of teaching with her real estate knowledge, she once again returned to the classroom and obtained her Real Estate Teaching Certificate, which gives her the ability to teach real estate as a state instructor at a school or university. She was honored as the 2013 Realtor of the Year at the RealSource Board of Realtors from approximately 3,000 members. Metzger’s experience in sales has made her a natural leader of the company. Almost 20 years as an agent herself allows her to coach her agents to success. “True love for this business has defined our business culture.
